STÉPHANE MARCHETTI

Stephane Marchetti is the author and director of documentaries including Rafah, chronicles of a city in the Gaza Strip with Alexis Monchovet. Together, they won the FIPA d'or in 2007 and the Albert-London prize in 2008.

In 2017, he directed Calais, Children of the jungle with Thomas Dandois, whose children's testimonies collected on the spot led to his first comic script: 9603 Kilomètres (Futuropolis 2020). His next comic, Padre Sicario, will be published by Albin Michel in September 2023. He is co-director of the AIRE LIBRE / ALBERT LONDRES collection, to be published by Dupuis in 2024.

Winter Crossing, his first feature film, was written as part of the Atelier Scénario at La Fémis in 2019, before being selected in 2021 for the Emergence Cinéma residency.
