CHRISTOPHE BLANC
Christophe Blanc was born in in 1966. After studying photography at the University of Marseilles, he turned to directing and distinguished himself with his first short film, Violente, which received many awards. His first medium-length film, Faute de soleil, was selected at the Directors' Fortnight in Cannes in 1995. An outward woman, his first feature film, with Agnès Jaoui in the lead role, was very well received by the critics and the audience. Since then, his filmography has been divided between prestigious films for television (Goldman for Canal+ with Samuel Benchetrit) and feature film projects, such as White as snow, with François Cluzet, Olivier Gourmet, Louise Bourgoin, Bouli Lanners and Jonathan Zaccai. His next feature film, Just Kids, a teenager story was released in France on August 5th 2020.
