Synopsis
Françoise breaks up with Jacques after living with him for fifteen years. She's left alone with their three children, a lovely home, and her nursing job at a hospital. She quickly refuses to assume responsibility for this new situation beyond her control. She starts going out, living by night… hanging out in new places, ready for chance encounters. Naturally, she's bound to neglect her "motherly duties", says and does things that were once unthinkable. Françoise is looking for an alternative to what she once believed was the only way to live and be happy. She's turned her life upside down, and although change can't happen all by itself, it's necessary if painful. But how can she know what may or may not be an opportunity for happiness?
